From now on, students of Goel Institute of Higher Studies Mahavidyalaya will get guaranteed job along with skill development and degree. This is due to the new programme Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Retail where students will get conceptual knowledge and hands-on training with industry experts. The College has got permission from Centre for Research in Schemes and Policies (CRISP) to run undergraduate programme of BBA in Retail. After completing the course, students will get 100% job guarantee in national and international retail brands. For this, the Ministry of Skill Development has entered an MoU with Retailers’ Association Skill Council of India.BBA in Retail is a 3-year degree programme based on credit system where students will get skill related professional and conceptual education. They will also get hands-on training for which they will get a stipend of maximum Rs. 7000 per month. After completing the course, students will be placed as Retail Cashier, Retail Trainee Associate, Retail Sales Associate, Distributor Salesman, Retail Team Leader etc.This is a self-financed programme, and the college has been allotted 60 seats by the authorities. The fee for the programme is Rs 55,000+ Service Fee per year. The classes will commence from 01 October, 2023.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

BBA is a kind of professional Course enhancing the basic business skills in students. The following abilities are expected to develop in a student of BBA- 1. Business Knowledge: Students can demonstrate technical competence in domestic and global business through the study of major disciplines within the fields of business. 2. Critical Thinking Skills: Students are able to define, analyze, and devise solutions for structured and unstructured business problems and issues using cohesive and logical reasoning patterns for evaluating information, materials, and data. 3. Communication Skills: Students are able to conceptualize a complex issue into a coherent written statement and oral presentation. 4. Technology Skills: Students are competent in the uses of technology in modern organizational operations. 5. Entrepreneurship and Innovation: Students can demonstrate the fundamentals of creating and managing innovation, new business development, and high-growth potential entities.

Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA)

The curriculum of Bachelor of Computer Application has been designed to cater to the needs of modern age. It gives an early start to those who are interested in taking up programming and computer designing as their career. The course aims at developing Communication Skills and Numerical and Programming aptitudes. Elementary Mathematics and Electronics are integral parts of the curriculum.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.)

Graduates of this programme will be knowledgeable across the core requirements of the degree. Graduates will be able to demonstrate knowledge of major theories and models in key areas of organizational behavior. Analyze organizational problems and generate realistic solutions based on current academic research in organizational behavior. Demonstrate a knowledge of macroeconomic theory as it relates to current macroeconomics policy and issues.

Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) B. Com. (H)

Graduates of this degree will be knowledgeable of domestic and international economic and organizational environments. Graduates will be able to analyze commerce / business issues in the international contexts. Compare international contexts and issues through the lens of the commerce discipline. Evaluate national and international debates and discussions on economic, commercial, and business issues.

Bachelor of Visual Arts

BVA or Bachelor of Visual Arts is a four-year duration undergraduate Fine Arts course in which students major in any one of the disciplines of their interest. Some of the popular BVA specialisations in which candidates can choose to major are creative writing, painting, film-making, technical arts, applied arts, sculpture, television production, photography, stage management, animation, and film production. A BVA course can be chosen by any candidate who has a creative instinct and wishes to build his/ her career in the field of art. A course in Visual Arts appeals to the aesthetic sense of students and makes their imaginative senses grow. Also, the course offers students all the theoretical as well as practical knowledge needed to build a successful career in the field.
